YOUR WEBSITE OPTIMISATION QUESTIONNAIRE

If you are unsure how compatible your website is with search engines take a few minute to complete our Optimisation Questionnaire. It will give you an indication on where your website stands and how much work, if any, is required to improve it's search engine ranking.

Please note that there are many other factors which may influence your rankings which we have not covered in the Questionnaire and some of the factors which we have touched on may not be 100% accurate - for example, your site may contain meta tags which has scored you well in our questionnaire but overuse of a keyword in these meta tags may result in your site being ranked lower or even barred.

Points are awarded on a 3,2,1 basis for each question. There are some bonus points awarded to the most important search engine criteria.

If you scored 0 to 11 points
Your website has very little chance of being found on search engines. Your site is in need of an urgent search engine optimisation.

If you scored 12 to 20 points
You may have a few key optimisation elements on your site but as a whole you are losing a lot of potential business being ranked so low. An optimisation is recommended.

If you scored 21 to 29 points

If you scored more than 30 points
Well done, your site has been given the best possible opportunity of high rankings. Given your score if your site is not ranking well you may have a few issues to consider. Are you targeting the right keywords, are you resubmitting your site too often, are you using undesirable programs to submit your site, are you accidentally spamming the search engines.
